Isle of Wight, Shanklin, Sandown, Needles, Godshill, Newport

5 day trip to capture Little Britain in photos, staying in Shanklin at the Langham Court with Mrs C . Day one was travelling to the island although after dinner I walked to the old town and St Blasius Church. The photography did not really start until Day two, rising early in the morning to capture the sunrise walking along the coastal sands from Shanklin to Sandown Pier and back. Then having some breakfast before departing onto Newport spending most of my time at Minster Church of Saints Thomas and around the docks. Then we went onto the Rosemary Vineyard before returning back to Shanklin where I revisited the old Village, around the gardens and chine walking back passed the Fisherman’s cottage on the beach. Day 3 was another early rise walking round the old town and Shanklin Station built in 1863 taking shots of the old London underground rolling stock, now used on this line. We then travelled by coach to Isle of Wight Pearl Shop then onto Needles, I only got a chance to see the Needles and go into the Glass Factory, there is so much to see and do here you really need a full day here. Day 4 the final photo day before travelling back, another early rise to the beach at Shanklin to capture the sunrise, then breakfast followed by a coach trip to the beautiful village of Godshill seeing the church and thatched cottages and a quick visit round the model village before travelling to Ryde visiting the Hover port and bus museum. Then onward to the small Isle of Wight zoo at Yaverland before walking back via the coastal route to Shanklin. Places I would like to visit on a return trip would include Bembridge, Fort and Windmill (national trust site), Go back to Needles for a full day, with a boat trip, Ventnor, Niton (pictures of the milky way) the Isle of Wight Steam Railway at Havenstreet, Osbourne House, Carisbrooke Castle and Museum,  St Lawrence.
