Shearing Holidays Tyrol, Salzburg and Innsbruck with Shearing Holidays – January – February 2018

Started my journey at Hythe Stop 24 (M20 J11) at 1pm Saturday 27.1.18 then onto Calais using Eurotunnel in the Coach. It was then a long drive onto Novotel Nancy in France for an overnight stop arriving at the hotel around 7pm. The next day was all day traveling leaving France at 8.30am driving though Switzerland and finally arriving at Hotel Ascherwirt in Brandenburg Sunday night at around 7pm which was my hotel for the next 6 nights.
Brandenburg is a very small village with a few hotels and a SPAR shop. The hotel itself was comfortable, warm but basic, a traditional vibe that I greatly enjoyed (not mainstream). Breakfast was self service, limited selection but more than enough for me. In the evening it was a sit down service 4 course, soup, main meal, dessert and coffee. It is a family run hotel and I found the staff and owners very warm and friendly and happy to help.
The village and photography I got up early most morning and wondered round taking pictures of the snowy landscape and anything I could find interesting, we had snow overnight which was great as I retook some earlier photographs with the fresh snow.
Monday was a trip to Salzburg photographing the Cathedral, Mirabel Gardens, and the Hohensalzburg Fortress and of course a little street photography. Tuesday was  trip to Kufstein and then the Coach driver dropped a few of us off at the small village of Rattenburg and then we got one of the local buses back to Brandenburg.
Wednesday I travelled to the Wendlestein Rack Railway and Thursday I travelled round some of the Tyrol Villages, Kitzbuhl, Kirchberg and Westendorf.
Finally on Friday I travelled to Innsbruck for my final day in Austria
