Day 1
We left Hythe Interchange Stop 24 (just outside Dover) at 1.30pm, got the P&O Ferries across to Calais in the coach and then onto our overnight stop at the IBIS Reims Tinqueux arriving just before 9 pm (local time).
Day 2
Another relaxing day breakfast at 8 am departing at 9 am to Hotel Baren (Oberharmersbach) Germany Black Forest.
Since this is a relatively short journey, our Coach drivers stopped off at Strasbourg for a few hours, shame about the weather but that cannot be helped, still managed enjoyed the sites of the city especially its Gothic Cathedral “Notre-Dame.

Day 3, Breakfast at 8 am departing at 9 am. First, stop a view of Hornberg Castle then onto the House of the Black Forest Cuckoo Clocks in Hornberg. Then onto Triberg, one of my favorite locations only an hour stop here which was too short only just about managed to get to the Triberg waterfalls and a quick look at the town. Then onto Furtwangen not much to do or see here apart from the Church. We also stopped at Gengenbach which was a lovely little town with some wonderful buildings.
Day 4, Breakfast at 8 am a departure at 9 am onto Freudenstadt with its 4 squares, popular for the Christmas markets but not worth visiting any other time. Then onto the medieval town of Rottweil lots to do and see here got the key from the tourist information center to go up the high tower and take in the scenic views. We then went onto the town of Donaueschingen with its wonderful church (St Johns) and then a quick stop to view the source of the Danube
Day 5, Breakfast 8 am departing 9 am. First Stop Freiburg, go to the old historic gates of Schwabentor and Martinsor, and keep an eye out for the cheerful pavement mosaics in front of many shops.
A must see is Freiburg Munster which attracts thousands, you also have the cable car, shops and loads of other city attractions. Next onto the tourist magnet that is Titisee, the lake had frozen over and covered in snow so it just looked like a giant football pitch.
Day 6, Breakfast 8 am departing 9 am. First, stop at a Ski Resort, with little ski action which was a little disappointing. Then the final stop of the day St Blasien, the main attraction here was the monastery and well worth visiting.

Day 7, Breakfast 8 am departure 9 am to Lake Constance at the town of Konstanz, spent about 3 hours here going around the town, highlights for had to be Minster, street musicians, Pulvertum Gun Powder Tower, Rheintorum Old Tower, the fabulous and controversial Imperia located by the Lake.
Konstanz was a wonderful place to visit and well worth the 3-hour drive from our hotel.
Day 8, Breakfast 8 am, departure 9 am with a bonus stop at Reims, obviously, the main attraction here is the wonderful Cathedral.
